We firmly believe that our prices are the most competitive around. This is because we import the furniture ourselves, allowing us to offer our customers superb prices without compromising on quality.

 

Although we specialise in solid oak furniture, we also work with a variety of other materials, including solid walnut, solid pine, metal and glass.

  • Wood - Clean with a damp cloth only. Use a natural beeswax every 6-12 months to protect the furniture and keep it looking new.

All of our wood is responsibly sourced and fully compliant with the UK Timber Regulations (UKTR). What's more, every piece we create can be traced back to the forest the timber came from - it’s our way of ensuring your furniture is made with integrity, care, and respect for the environment.

Order & Payment Process

 
You can place furniture orders over the internet or by phone or simply ‘add to basket’ when on an individual item page. To order over the phone, please call: 0208 338 7610 or email [email protected]
 
Simply browse our online catalogue and click “add to basket” to any items you wish to buy. These items will be saved and can be removed later if you wish. When you have finished shopping, click on the “checkout” button which takes you to the order page. Follow the straightforward, step-by-step checkout process where you will enter your personal information and payment details via our secure server.Alternatively, another popular method is ordering over the phone by calling 0208 338 7610 – a friendly member of our customer services team is waiting to take your call.
 
All orders placed online with us are taken and transmitted directly to Axcess – our payment gateway – using a secure connection that is verified by VeriSign. We do not store your card details and they cannot be seen by those employed by Oak&More or Stripe. As soon as you place your order, you are automatically redirected to our secure site. This security is provided and verified by VeriSign. For more than 10 years, VeriSign has been securing data and enabling online transactions, and the VeriSign Secured Seal is the most recognised security mark on the Internet. We accept all major credit cards via our online secure server and over the phone.

 

Secure telephone payment line Securing our customers personal information is important to us. In order to protect your card information, we use PayGuard, which is a secure payment process that is compliant with the PCI DSS. When you would like to make a purchase over the phone, a level 1 secure payment system is used to process it. How does PayGuard work? When we are ready to take your payment over the phone, the process will be handled securely through PayGuard, a level 1 secure payment system. We ask you NOT to read your card information out loud, but instead we ask you to type your card details into your telephone keypad (just like you do when typing a phone number you wish to call). We use PayGuard for two reasons: To avoid anybody overhearing your card details; and As no one hears your card details, not even our staff, your payment card details are secure.

Delivery, Returns & After-Sales Service

 

Oak&More offers a two-man delivery service as standard on all items of furniture that are not able to delivered by overnight courier. Delivery is £39 to most mainland Britain addresses, or £69 if you’d like our Premium Delivery Service with unpacking and packaging removal. An additional charge will be added at checkout for AB, DD, FK, IV, KW, KY, PA and PH postcodes

 
We give you a 14 day period in which you can return your items. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of returned goods.

All items must be returned in a re-saleable condition as good as new. All items must be returned in their original packaging.

Items cannot have been assembled as by assembling a product it can be deemed as acceptance of the goods.

Items which are not adequately packaged at time of collection may not be collected and a charge of £67.50 plus VAT may be levied to cover cost of failed collection.

Where a delivery date has been agreed with our carrier but the customer isn’t present to receive the delivery, we reserve the right to charge the customer a minimum of £45 plus VAT to cover part of the cost of the failed delivery.

Most of our smaller items can be sent via a courier and can take up to 48 hours for delivery once despatched. Some of our very large furniture items will be sent via a specialist delivery service and depending upon your location this can take up to 10 working days. You will be advised in advance of the scheduled delivery date. Deliveries to Scotland, Isle of Wight, Ireland and remote areas of Cornwall and Wales can take longer than specified on the site. Please allow up to 3 weeks. For marble, ceramic and larger glass tables please allow up to 4 weeks.

Returns

 

We want you to be happy with your purchase, however if you change your mind and wish to make a return or an exchange you must notify us within 14 days in writing by letter or email, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulation. By Law, we are required to provide you with products which are as described on our website, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If you have received a faulty item, please contact us using the “contact us” form on our contact us page to discuss a suitable resolution. We will ask you to provide us information so that we can investigate and resolve the issue. Any refunds made in relation to a faulty product will be subject to us collecting the product/s from you which we will do at our own cost. We are unable to accept returns on assembled furniture. We are unable to accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit back to us. We will require photos of all returned, damaged or exchanged items to verify the condition.   • We permit exchanges on unused and unassembled items so long as you contact us within 14 days of delivery. In order to qualify for an exchange the item must come back in the same original condition.
  • If exchanging for an item of greater or lesser value we will make arrangements with you to settle or refund the difference.
  • All exchanges are subject to a fee of £81 (£67.50 + VAT) which covers the pickup and delivery cost of your items – this will need to be paid before we can deliver your replacement item. (Marble and extending glass tables will be subject to a higher fee due to specialist delivery company. Please see full terms and conditions here)
  • Returned items that you wish to exchange must arrive in perfect condition including the packaging, so please ensure that they are well packed using clear tape to seal any boxes.
  • To initiate an exchange please contact us here.
  • We will then ask you to send us photographs to verify the condition of the item you wish to exchange
 
  • Unwanted items must be returned in a fully re-saleable condition, which includes being in the original, unmarked and undamaged packaging.
  • Items must not have been used or assembled in any way.
  • Returns cannot be accepted once the assembly process has begun.
  • Returned items must arrive in perfect condition including the packaging, so please ensure that they are well packed using clear tape to seal any boxes.
  • Mattresses can only be returned if they are unopened. Mattresses which have been opened, used or slept on cannot be returned.
  • We retain the right to refuse a refund on any item deemed to be unsaleable.
  • We are unable to accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
  • In the event of the customer changing their mind, items must be returned in a perfect condition. If the original packaging has been disposed of, the customer will be responsible to repackage the item adequately in order for this to be returned. Photos will be requested to ensure this request has been completed. We ask that cardboard is used to cover all corners and that the whole item is wrapped and secured using bubble wrap. Failure to do so may result in an increased return charge of £110 to cover an additional collection service..
  • Once received the items will be inspected and a refund issued within 14 days.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the above conditions have not been met. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • All returns are subject to a collection fee of £81 (£67.50 + VAT) which will be deducted from your refund. (Marble and extending glass tables will be subject to a higher fee due to specialist delivery company. Please see full terms & conditions here)

  • Please check your packaging fully on receipt. If there is any damage to the packaging then please indicate this when signing for delivery whilst the drivers are present.
  • Transit damage must be reported within 30 days of delivery.
  • All items and parts of items must be checked for any damage prior to assembly.
  • Please report your issue here and we will contact you to offer a repair, exchange or refund.
  • We will then ask you to upload 5 photographs to verify the condition of the item you wish to return.
