Furniture Shield Protection Plan – Terms & Conditions

 
  • Enjoy peace of mind knowing your furniture is protected against life’s everyday accidents.
  • O&M Furniture Shield is powered by Staingard Protect’s ProtectPlus care plan, designed to keep your furniture looking its best for longer.
  • This Furniture Care Plan is not an insurance policy.
  • Assistance is provided at the discretion of Staingard Protect in line with these terms.
  • The plan applies to furniture listed on your purchase receipt.
 
  • Accidental staining (e.g. food, drink, cosmetics, ink, dye transfer, wax)
  • Accidental damage (e.g. rips, burns, scratches, dents, pet damage, glass or mirror damage)
  • Structural defects after the manufacturer’s warranty expires (e.g. frame issues, recliner faults, electrical faults, stitching, veneer or leather peeling, metal component failure)
 
  • Commercial or rental use
  • Pre-existing damage at delivery
  • General wear & tear or fading
  • Improper cleaning or use of non-approved products
  • Misuse, neglect, abuse, or infestation
  • Any issue not listed under “What’s Covered”
 
  • All service requests are assessed individually.
  • Assistance may include cleaning, repair, replacement, technician visits, advice, or retailer credit.
  • The type of assistance provided is at Staingard’s sole discretion.
 
  • Cover lasts 6 years from delivery.
  • Structural cover begins after 12 months and continues for the remaining term.
 
  • Report issues within 21 days of discovery.
  • Submit requests via staingard.co.uk, email, or phone.
  • Do not attempt to clean or repair items before approval.
 
  • Follow manufacturer care guidelines
  • Maintain and clean furniture appropriately
  • Avoid direct heat or sunlight
  • Use only approved cleaning products
 
  • Cancel within 14 days for a full refund (if unused)
  • No refunds after 14 days
  • The plan ends if the term expires, the item is replaced, cancelled, unpaid, or false information is provided
 
  • Plan transfers are available for a £35 fee, subject to approval
 
  • Staingard Protect manages your data responsibly
  • No marketing use without consent
  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data
 
  • Contact customer services for complaints
  • Independent resolution available via ombudsman services if required
 
  • Governed by the laws of England and Wales
  • No third-party rights under applicable law
  • Terms may be updated at any time
  • Your statutory rights are not affected
